As most of you know, on Tuesday, November 11, 2003, Calvary Christian Fellowship, pastored by Victor and Gwendolyn Nazario, suffered the tragic loss of their church facility in a fire.
This church has been a great blessing to the body of Christ, having hosted many citywide events, ministering holistically to the Harlem area, and in sending out leaders and planting numerous churches. Furthermore, Apostle Nazario has been integrally involved in the prayer and unity movement, Promise Keepers, City Covenant Coalition and much more!
Because of leaders like him, the church in the New York City region has prospered and experienced a greater level of unity and cooperation more than ever before! Now is the time to stand with both our brother Victor, his lovely wife Gwendolyn and their church!
On Wednesday December 3, 2003 at 7:30pm we joined together with Pastors Luciano Padilla, David Ireland, and Joseph Mattera in celebrating “A Night of New Beginnings” for Calvary Christian Fellowship.
At this special event there was powerful praise, testimonies, prayer for the Nazarios and Calvary Church, and an inspiring message from Dr. David Ireland that prophetically encapsulated the fabulous show of faith, hope and unity the city church is demonstrating! In addition to all of this, a special offering was received for a new facility that will enable them to have an even greater impact on their community and city!
Truly the Word of the Lord to them this day is:
But as for you (Satan to CCF), you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. (Genesis 50:20)
and:
“The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,” says the LORD of hosts. “The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,” says the LORD of hosts. “And in this place I will give peace,” says the LORD of hosts. (Haggai 2:8-9)
