+ Participant Guidelines
- THE ATTITUDE OF PARTICIPANTS:
a. All participants should come with an attitude of repentance , humility and love that will be a witness of the love of God to all non-believers.
b. We should come with an understanding that the moral decline of our culture is primarily the fault of the believing church due to its passivity and indifference in regards to the societal needs at large.
c. Participants should understand that the current threat facing traditional marriage is primarily the fault of heterosexual infidelity in regards to the same.
- Participants should not bring any posters/placards not authorized by the leadership of City Covenant Coalition.
- Participants are instructed not to answer the press during the conference but are to direct all questions to the appointed spokes persons assigned by City Covenant Coalition.
- Participants should not come with their own agenda, but be in full support of the stated goals and guidelines of CCC in regards to this event.
(This means that said participants agree not to hand out flyers, ads or any other literature during this event without the approval of the recognized CCC leadership)
- Participants are encouraged not to be drawn into heated debate and argumentation with counte – protesters and demonstrators that may assemble to oppose us – but we should exhibit the attitude spoken of in 2 Timothy 2:23-26.
- Participants should attempt to stick to the Biblical teachings of marriage and avoid being drawn into political dialogue during the event so that we as a group can represent all true believers in our city and region who may or may not agree with our political positions and party affiliations
- All clergy must submit to CCC their names at least five days before the event to ensure that they will have access to the steps of City Hall
- All participating Clergy must meet us @ City Hall no later than 10 am for the press conference for prayer and orientation
